The Little Things

In my most recent competition I spoke with a few of the judges afterward to get their thoughts on me and what I needed to change or work on. There were two obvious issues I saw that I knew they would also bring up. First is my upper body, I know I need more muscle so that was a given and the second was my tan. It became splotchy before pre-judging but we did re-do it and it looked great at the night show. I was fine with these things and knew that I had to make sure at the next show I did my best to increase my upper body and I perfect my tan, but they mentioned two things that were bothered me and made me say "What The F***" One judge didn't like my back pose with my legs crossed and another didn't like my lip stick.....this really annoyed me for a while but I finally just had to tell myself that it's ok, it's a subjective sport. Take it with a grain of salt and change it for the next show, let the judges know you respect their opinion and try YOUR best to make it right the next time you're on stage. My point is no matter what try, try again and never give up. Be the best version of yourself, not only on stage but at all times.
