I think almost everyone has been to the point of no return, when reaching for A cookie turns into 2 cookies, then 3 cookies then before you know it the whole box is gone and all you can think about is wanting even more cookies. We then try to justify the multiple sweets we just ate but just because you had a cereal bar for breakfast doesn't cancel out the 8 cookies you just had. I get around 2 cheat meals a week and it's very difficult for me to contain myself when I am really wanting something greasy or sweet. So to keep my self from binge eating I have rules I've made for myself that I HAVE to abide by.First is I pick what my cheat will be. If I want something greasy like say a burger I eat only 1/2 of it and I allow myself to have all of the fries. If I decide to have dessert then I eat my normal dinner and have a "healthy" dessert; like say 1 cup of no sugar added ice cream, carb smart ice cream or the skinny cow ice cream sandwich. I at least try to make my cheat as sensible and healthy as possible that way I don't completely ruin my diet and allow my self to go over board. Plus I only have a cheat meal and not a cheat day!  You can't expect to cheat all day and then not expect your body to react negatively the next day.
