Satisfaction

Satisfaction, the fulfillment or gratification of a desire, need, or appetite. Rarely do I ever seem satisfied and this is what pushes me to be better.  I'm not sure I know anyone who is satisfied with any part of their life and most people treat this as a negative. They let it bring them down and it often makes them unhappy. I try to use it in a positive way, a way to help my self improve wither it be in the gym or in my personal life. So many obstacle can side track you from your goals and yourself is one of them. You can either be your biggest fan or your biggest opponent and I admit at times I have been both but I chose every day to at least try to be my biggest fan and find a little satisfaction in my day. I even create a "To Do" list for my self every day and each time I cross something off of it I have a little bit of satisfaction. It's the small things in life that can keep you sane and make you happier every day. 
 

The Little Things

In my most recent competition I spoke with a few of the judges afterward to get their thoughts on me and what I needed to change or work on. There were two obvious issues I saw that I knew they would also bring up. First is my upper body, I know I need more muscle so that was a given and the second was my tan. Own It

The words "own it" mean a lot in my life. At a time in my professional not fitness career these words were spoken to me by my boss. I was younger and not really sure where I was headed; not only in my career but life as well. I never fully committed to much because I was always needing something new and stimulating to do, I often got bored with my life and tried to find ways to make it exciting, including whatever project at work I was doing at the time.
